SAFETY IS OUR PRIORTY!

At Fisher Powerline Construction Ltd., safety is our priority. We are committed to our workforce in becoming a safety leader in the industry. We have a certifiable EH & S program and our Certificate of Recognition from the Alberta Construction Association is evidence of that commitment. We were also recognized by Work Safe Alberta as the 2008 Best Safety Performer.

Our detailed planning and the inclusion of safety into our execution strategies has contributed to an incredible rate adjustment by the WCB. In 2011, Fisher PLC had a WCB rate of $1.68 with a 20.66% discount from our industry rate. This shows that our ongoing commitment to safety is paying dividends. We believe that with the proper training, mentoring, leadership, job planning and commitment by both employees and management, we can achieve a workplace that has zero accidents or injuries. Staff are continuously trained and monitored to improve the safe work practices to achieve that goal.

At Fisher PLC we understand that we only have one environment and we need to do our part to look after it. We ensure complete compliance with all provincial, federal and municipal regulations and are continuously improving our policies and procedures to reduce our footprint on the environment
